    Jennifer is a born and raised West Virginian. Originally from Charleston, WV, she attended West Virginia University for her bachelors degree in science. She is a licensed east Asian medical practitioner and graduated from Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland, Oregon with a masters degree in acupuncture and oriental medicine. After graduation, Jennifer completed an advanced internship at Nanjing University in Nanjing, China. Her study there focused on neurological diseases, pediatric tuina, and Asian herbal medicine. After that, she went on to volunteer with the Acupuncture Relief Project in Chapagoan, Nepal. During her time there, she had the opportunity to treat over 1,000 patients with a wide variety of conditions and provide primary health care. From 2002-2004 she served in the Peace Corps as an environmental education volunteer in Gabon, Africa. One of her life goals is to help bring education and alternative health care to rural under-served populations.

    Jennifer's passion is this planet. To her, each culture of people that share it is what gives it true zeal. The gift of previously living and being part of communities in 3rd world countries and her experiences there has significantly shaped her as a person. It has been a chance to continue her life's work as an east Asian medicial practitioner with a solid grass roots foundation that she has taken back with her to her own small mountain community in Thomas, West Virginia, where she recreates, lives and practices

  • Kyle Weaner

    Kyle Weaner, a West Virginia native, is a licensed massage therapist and a traditional Tibetan Medicine practitioner. He studied massage therapy at the Florida School of Massage in Gainesville, FL in 2002, and has been practicing since then. Kyle was an apprentice under Dr. Jampa Yonten from 2004 to 2012 at the Tibetan Healing & Wellness Center in Bangalore, India. He studied the classical medical texts and participated in Dr. Yonten's clinical practice learning the art of pulse reading, healing through diet & lifestyle, the use of herbal medicines, Tibetan therapeutic massage, cupping, moxibustion, and other therapies. Most importantly, Dr. Yonten taught Kyle about the importance of meditation and compassion practices. Kyle studied yoga for 8 years in India. Buddhist meditation practice has also played a huge role in the development of Kyle’s yoga practice. He studied Thai Massage under Ariela Grodner, and he finds it to be a glorious union between traditional healing, yoga, and massage. Click here for me information on Kyle's services.

    Holistic health consultations include a comprehensive assessment of your health, lifestyle, and medications. This will include a physical examination, as well as a review of medical history and of any lab work, radiologic studies, and other tests, as needed.

    The consultations apply integrative approaches to overall management of acute or chronic medical conditions, addressing medications, diet, and stress management as needed. Suggestions regarding lifestyle modifications to prevent and/or slow the progression of disease may be offered, as well as help with medical advocacy and palliative care. A personalized plan can be developed in cooperation with your primary care provider, if you so wish. Home visits are available.

    Katherine is a Licensed Massage Therapist who graduated from the Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage in 2017. After seeking out Massage Therapy to treat her own whiplash injuries from a car accident; she was inspired to start her career treating clients with similar injuries to help them heal from chronic pain. She continued her career path working at the Salt Cave spa in Ellicottville, NY where she enjoyed assisting clients relax and release tension. She specializes in Swedish massage, Deep Tissue massage, Trigger Point Therapy, and Prenatal massage. She is passionate about combining different healing modalities to help clients reach their wellness goals.A proud West Virginia University alum, Katherine graduated in 2008 with a Bachelors of Science. In 2021, she completed her Yoga Teacher Training from Yoga Farm Ithaca. Katherine will work with you to create a treatment plan that is right for your needs.
